In fact, our product is free of gluten, nuts, dairy, soy, and any animal based ingredients.
Other plant-based alternatives can yield a watery drink with low nutritional values. For example, 10 ounces of almond beverage can contain 1 gram of fiber, less than two grams of protein, and 2% Daily Value (DV) for Calcium. Alternatively, the same 10 ounce portion of flax beverage contains 3 grams of ALA Omega 3 (more than twice as much as any other flax beverage), 3 grams of fiber, 4 grams of protein, and 25% Daily Value for Calcium plus plenty of other bonuses like 30% DV of Riboflavin and 40% DV of Vitamin B12. The powerful vitamins and minerals in flaxseed, such as omega 3s, have been shown to decrease risk of heart disease (1), support the immune system (1), lower inflammation, and support cell structure.
