Welcome to Manitoba Milling Company!

Welcome!  Thanks for visiting us – we hope you’ll stop back often to learn more about flaxseed and try our delicious recipes.

A little bit about us….

The Pizzey family has been growing flaxseed and other nutritious grains in western Manitoba for over a century. Our years of research and testing have helped us understand the best way to grow flaxseed, from the time it’s planted until the time it’s harvested. We’ve learned how growing conditions and soil quality impacts overall plant nutrition and, in turn, how that affects seed quality and nutrient content.

Twenty-five years ago we built our first mill, making us pioneers in the flaxseed industry. Since then, we’ve spent many years learning all about flaxseed. We’ve also perfected our milling process, and learned how to mill flaxseed much finer than others in the industry.

As a result, our product has become an industry standard, trusted for quality by many major food companies across the U.S. and Canada. In fact, our flaxseed is in many products you find on the store shelves in the U.S. and Canada. Now, you can buy directly from the source of the highest quality flaxseed on the market today!

Manitoba Milling Company’s Smooth Whole-Milled Flaxseed is a very finely milled powder that incorporates well into smoothies, yogurt, juice and sauces. Due to our attention to quality and seed selection, our product has a shelf life of 2+ years. Just keep your flaxseed out of direct sunlight – no refrigeration or freezing necessary!

In addition to providing a place to purchase the very best flaxseed on the market, we also hope to provide a place for you to learn about all things flaxseed!
