Creamy Ranch Dressing with Flaxseed

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise regular
  • ½ cup sour cream regular
  • ¼ cup buttermilk low fat
  • 1 Tablespoon distilled white vinegar or pickle juice
  • 2 teaspoons Manitoba Milling Co. Smooth Whole Milled Flaxseed
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon chopped chives or dill

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a jar or other air-tight container, stir, and store covered in the fridge for up to 1 week (or until your buttermilk or sour cream's expiration date).

Notes

-Recipe makes a little over 1 cup of dressing.
-For extra freshness, color, or slight flavor change stir in 1 teaspoon of finely cut chives or dill.
-Dressing will be thick, add buttermilk (1 teaspoon at a time) to thin and reach your desired consistency.
